What we collect

If you contact us by email or phone, we hold what you choose to send us: your name, contact details, and whatever you tell us about your enquiry.

We do not run advertising or analytics cookies on this site. Our host may keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) needed to serve and secure the site.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your data to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to provide and administer our services. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who approach us, or the performance of a contract with you.

Where we are required to retain records — for example under anti-money-laundering or tax rules — the basis is compliance with a legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who act on our instructions (such as our email and hosting providers), with professional partners where that is necessary to carry out your instructions, and with authorities where the law requires it.

International transfers

We work across jurisdictions, so your data may be processed outside your own country. Where that happens we rely on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted once they are no longer relevant. Client records are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and for the retention period our professional and statutory obligations require afterwards.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or erase it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable form. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
